What is the purpose of this workshop?
This workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn street photography with one of the pioneers in the field - Arien Chang. Together with Kasia Trojak, they have created an excellent itinerary and organized an experience that is both challenging and rewarding. The workshop objective is to create a portfolio of publishable quality.

What are the photography experience requirements to attend the workshop?
This workshop is open to all creatives who are interested in street and documentary photography who want to improve on their skill set and develop a portfolio. To take a full advantage of the workshop, please shoot on a digital camera so that the images can be processed and reviewed on a daily basis.
What equipment do I need to bring?
- Camera Body + Lens (or lenses) - Chang’s suggested lenses are 28mm or 35mm primes (but bring what you normally use)
- Enough SD Cards to shoot 1000+ photos a day, Extra Batteries, battery charger
- Laptop for editing photos + photo editing software such as Lightroom
- On Camera Flash for photographing at night
- A Small LED on camera light (optional)
How to prepare for Las Parrandas?
There are a lot of fireworks and pyro effects so protective clothing and footwear are a must. Long sleeves, long pants, hats, protective eye glasses, toe-covering footwear such as strong sneakers or boots are required. Clothing made from natural fabrics that is not easiely flammable is advised. It gets cold that time a year in Cuba so please bring a jacket and rain protection.
How do I sign up for the workshop?
Please email kasiatrojakstudio@gmail.com to sign up. A deposit is required to hold a spot. Remaining balance is due 2 weeks before the start of the workshop.
What is the cancellation policy?
In case of a need for a cancelation, please email us 1 month before the start of the workshop for a full refund minus the security deposit.
If cancelation is made by Chang, all fees including the deposit will be refunded. Please have travel insurance in case the workshop needs to be cancelled. It is advisable to book travel after the workshop is confirmed.
