Women Untitled shows images from a personal long-term project of portraits that I started photographing in Cuba in 2017. It’s a celebration of womanhood, the female beauty and style.
Women Untitled exhibited at Dador, an all-female-independent designer brand in Havana and opened with the launch of their summer collection Be at Peace Where You Are – the concept that shares all images’ spirit of female resilience, power and endurance. Women have stereotypical and expected gender roles in society and I photographed quiet moments outside of those roles, juxtaposed with their surroundings and conveying a fashion editorial style. Putting an emphasis on elevating individuality, and empowerment I aim at finding authentic ways to represent the women’s world.

All images were shot, printed and framed in Cuba.

On view from June 29 - August 1, 2019
